Girl Peace Scouts This is one of two portraits in the Berry & Co collection of a young Harris girl in uniform. In this portrait, the young Miss Harris stands to attention and gives a three-fingered salute –a form of salute associated with the scouting movement world-wide. The stripes on her arm reveal that she is a ‘corporal’. The young Misses Harris’ are probably Girl Peace Scouts.
