Description

This stained glass window was manufactured by William Morris Co, a company synonymous with the British Arts Crafts movement. The company began designing stained glass from its inception as Morris, Marshall Faulkner in 1861 on the strength of Edward Burne-Jones' reputation in the field. This window was designed by John Henry Dearle or J. H. Dearle (1860-1932), much later in the company's history - in the early twentieth century.
