Banned
A DigitalNZ Story by NZ On Screen
This bad-arse set from NZ On Screen features titles that were banned when they were first made. The offending titles include the 1971 music clip Come to the Sabbat by Timberjack, which managed a couple of screenings before being banned completely; and the 1972 documentary When You're in it, You're in it to the Limit – Bikies, which didn't screen until many years after it was made. Also featured is The Neville Purvis Family Show, which did manage to screen in 1978, but after an infamous use of the "F' word, Neville Purvis was banned from appearing on NZ TV again. More recent banned titles include the music videos AFFCO by the Skeptics, and Headlights by the Hot Grits.
