This complex letter, while addressed to Rev R Taylor, was actually written to his wife Caroline on 25 November 1837. It is from her sister Charlotte in Huntington, England, who wrote her family news on both sides of a large sheet of paper folded into four, making eight pages altogether, with cross-hatched writing on every part of every page, except that reserved for the address.
