View looking onto the house at which Eric stayed during a 1949 visit to Wellington (relating to his role as editor of the Arts Yearbook in that year); the house seen here is bathed in sunlight while the lawn is cast entirely in shadow. Two people (Mario and Hilda Fleischl) can be seen on the house verandah here, branches of tall trees are in sight in the background at right. Similar image to O.011295.
