The cartoon shows two members of a Maori gang walking towards the 'Maori Party Gang hui'. One of them carries a lapdog with the face of Tariana Turia, co-leader of the Maori Party and the other leads a clipped poodle with the face of Pita Sharples, the other co-leader. Refers to the news that Senior Mongrel Mob and Black Power members were flown to Auckland at the taxpayer's expense for a hui with Pita Sharples. The meeting was called in response to concerns about gang and community violence....
