Volunteer female workers checking and packing next-of-kin parcels for dispatch to New Zealand prisoners of war. Taken at the Prisoners of War Enquiry Office for the Wellington district, in Dixon Street, circa 5 November 1941. `Every Tuesday and Thursday a band of voluntary workers meet at prisoners of war enquiry office for the Wgton district in Dixon St, where the next-of-kin parcels are checked & packed for dispatch.' 5/11/41 (fr original print) Quantity: 1 b&w copy negative(s).
