View of some of the tents put up by Maori land marchers on the lawns in front of the Parliamentary Buildings, Wellington. Photographed on the 14th of October 1975 by an Evening Post staff photographer. The tents shown here were occupied by the Te Roopu Ote Matakite group. They had suffered a first night of high winds and heavy rain which had threatend to blow the tents away. Here two members of the group check the tent ropes.
