View of the building in Parliament grounds, Wellington, originally built as Government House in 1870-1871, taken in November 1955 by Morrie Hill. After the Parliament House fire of 1907 this building housed Parliament and the Governor General lived at Palmerston North until the new (present) Government House was ready.
