Poster shows a head and shoulders portrait, three quarter face, of a young Maori woman in traditional costume, with a necklace of [hibiscus?] flowers. In the left background are a carved Maori figure on a pole, and a pataka on a pole. Image is based on a Tourist Department photograph, the negative for which is held at 1/1-021398-F. Date of the poster is verified by a photograph of Eric de Lacey and Gerald Phillips at the National Publicity Studios in 1957. The studios hung recently complete...
