Description

Looking east from Point Britomart along the Auckland waterfront, showing Official Bay, Wynyard Pier, Mechanics Bay, Parnell, St Barnabas Point and church, with the premises of Henry Morgan, boatbuilder (right foreground), Dangars Mill (right), known later as Fletchers Mill and was then bought by William Joseph Cawkwell in 1870 and opened in December as the Crown Distillery.
