Showing the Picton baths, opened 1910 closed 1935; on the eastern foreshore; with the changing shed 'For gentlemen only' (left); shadow of the barbed wire on top of the wall which was placed there to prevent boys climbing over for a free swim, visible (left front to rear); children and a woman in the baths (foreground and centre); a launch on the water and buildings of the town behind.
