Post Office Training College, Heretaunga; Residential Section. The 'Leader' of August 1 1973 described the forthcoming school, and the July 23, 1975 issue printed an artist's bird's-eye view. Construction started in 1976. The first students arrived in October 1980. The October 28, 1980 'Leader' printed a picture of two students from the first intake; they had been roped into carrying mattresses into the centre's accommodation block.
