Description

"Summits for Suffrage" walkers at peak of Mount Climie. Caption: The celebration was the Women's Suffrage Centennial and the event was "Summits for Suffrage". Sweat, pain and blisters...but all 70 walkers felt it was well worth it!. Printed in colour in the ‘Leader’ on February 22, 1993. This brightened image has also had contrast reduced. The walk had been detailed in the February 8 'Leader'.
