Printed in greyscale in the ‘Leader’ on December 17, 1991; she was on of three recipients of the 1991 Upper Hutt Enterprise awards for her leading role in developing plans for Hutt Independent Boys' School, and for establishing an Upper Hutt gardening group, which in a very short time had achieved an over-300 membership.
