Children's writer Pat Quinn reads a School Journal to pupils at St Brendan's School in July 1992. It was part of Book Week and Pat visited the school for a morning to tell the youngsters about the many stories and plays she had written. Her visit was part of the writers in schools scheme administered by the New Zealand Book Council. She wrote her first book at the age of seven.
