- Description
Shows a number of young men holding brass band instruments, lined in formation, with a man in a [military] uniform to one side.; Most of the bandsmen appear to be wearing parts of army uniform, circa World War One.; The word 'Samoa' can be faintly discerned on the caption. The banana palm and the light uniforms suggest the bandsmen are part of the Samoa Force from New Zealand which captured the German colony of Western Samoa in August 1914.
