Description

Denise had been rung by a woman who had seen Elmo hit by a car, and moved it to the side of the road; she suggested it be put down, but Denise took it to veterinarian Des Bassett; the cat had internal bleeding but did not need surgery, and when the owners were found the mother, Jenny Moran contacted the 'Leader' to thank Constable Kenealy. A greyscale image was printed in the Upper Hutt Leader on 12/4/2000.
