Description

The residence of Eric and Ellen Pearce and their family (Ken, Joan, and Brian) at 107 Martin Street, Upper Hutt. The state house, with three others immediately adjacent, was built in 1944 by local builder Tom Parry, later well known for his house removal activity. The house was purchased from the State in the early 1950s. Following the death of his wife Eric sold the property in July 1996. (Information - Brian Pearce).
