The Ponsonby Club Hotel, aka The Gluepot, 1962. - Auckland Libraries Heritage Collections 919-36 There had been a hotel on the corner of Ponsonby and Jervois Roads, also known as Three Lamps Corner, since the 1870s. A new building was erected in 1903 and again in 1939 (the final and still-existing structure).
