Telegram; dated 18 November 1940 from Clara Quilter to her husband Thomas advising him of the birth of their son Geoffrey. Thomas died in February 1943 serving with the Royal Engineers in Algeria and never met his son. Here is a link to the stories of Thomas, Clara and Geoffrey.
