Description

Coffee pot. Part of a set given to William Cruikshank on his marriage on 13 August 1875. The coffee pot is made of sterling silver and is engraved on both sides. The crest on the left side is of the Scottish Clan Graham, and depicts a falcon killing a stork under the motto NE OUBLIE. On the right side is a crest of a hand holding a sword upright over the motto CAVENDO TUTUS. These crests are surrounded by oval borders and floral designs
