Showing a Christmas greeting postcard, with photograph at right showing (left to right), Lieutenant-Colonel James Pirie, Minna Pirie (nee Carey) and Carey James Pirie?, their son. The sign on the gate reads 'Sainte Helene'. Minna Pirie was eldest daughter of Mr John Carey, a land proprietor and lord of the manor of Sainte Helene, Guernsey. As this house is not Sarnia Lodge (owned by James Pirie), it may have been a house owned by one of his sons. Location unknown.
