A photograph of the Douglas Road Creamery, a skimming station. The building is made of wood with a corrugated iron roof. At the back is the boiler room with its smoke stack and steam vent. At the side of the building is a window and at the front is the receiving stage. In the middle of the receiving stage is a worker with a milk can being hoisted onto the stage. A pile of wood is stacked beside, but not against the building, which has dead trees in the paddock behind
