The thesis evaluates paediatric caregiver experience and understanding of discharge advice as improved caregiver understanding may reduce representations to hospital, improve health literacy, and improve long term health outcomes. Method: A qualitative inductive approach allowed caregiver experience to emerge from ten randomised caregiver interviews.
