Description

Milk deliveries to Otakau Dairy Factory, which was a skimming station of the Taieri and Peninsula Milk Supply Company of Dunedin. The factory is built on the side of a cleared hill. It appears to consist of three sections. The furthest section is a separate building of which the use is unknown. The nearest section consist of two parts, one containing the boiler with smokestack and [steam release valve?] which is releasing steam. The third and smaller area may be the factory proper
