Description

Entrants in the wheelbarrow derby braving the rain to line up in front of King's Theatre now the Bridgeway Theatre in Queen Street, Northcote, in 1945. The carnival was held to raise funds to build the Northcote War Memorial Hall in Rodney Road. Sign on theatre reads: J. Brennen - Refreshments.
