Description

Takapuna Public Library, children's section on the first floor of the new wing. Children's librarian, Robyn Neary, sits at her desk while several children browse the shelves and read at a table. When a new library was opened in 1989 at No. 9 The Strand, this building at No. 2 The Strand became the North Shore City Council - Takapuna Area Office.
