Aerial photograph of the Manukau Sports Bowl taken during the latter stages of its construction in 1989. This photograph was taken from the south-eastern corner of the sports bowl. The 22-acre expanse of parkland is bordered by what was then called Orlando Drive in the foreground (now part of Te Irirangi Drive), the southern motorway on the left, Preston Road and Boundary Road on the further side, and Sandrine Avenue on the right.
