Photograph taken from near the middle of Steele Park looking towards Grey Street. In the centre are the former conveniences and rest rooms, designed by local architects Edgecumbe, White and Leigh in 1945 and built by F Hawkins c. 1946. On the far side of Grey Street on the right is the Hamilton East Post Office and on the left is the Masonic Hall.
