Description

Adolf Brand (1874-1945) was a German writer, egoist anarchist, and pioneering campaigner for the acceptance of male bisexuality and homosexuality. Der Eigene was the first gay journal in the world and was published from 1896 to 1932 by Brand in Berlin. This copy is number 729 and a handwritten inscription records it was ordered and bought by Heinrich G [Georg] Dikreiter (1865-1947) of Alsemberg, on 30.12.1910.
