Description

Mattson's milk delivery 'Straker-Squire' truck at Pakuranga 1916. Truck carries The Auckland Farmers' Milk Supply Co-operative Co.Ltd. signage on its side curtain. One man can be seen standing next to the truck and another inside. The 'Straker-Squire' style of trucks were manufactured in England during WWI. They made high quality cars, trucks and buses from the early 1900s to about 1919, with car production continuing until 1929.
