Three 35 mm digitised negatives from the Gifford Cross Collection, donated to the Tauranga Public Library in the 1980s. Originally labelled as "Aircraft wreckage. Kaimai Ranges. Mr Barry Spring-Rice". It is dated "pub 25.7.63", three weeks after the Kaimai Air Disaster and features a helicopter and search teams including police and civilians. Note the occasional lemon squeezer hat in the crowds
