Historic Village locamotive with qualified steam driver, looking from roof of train station across to St. John's First Aid centre c late-1990s. Steam locomotive 508 A-class built around 1889 and was originally owned by New Zealand Rail. Moved from the village to Shantytown Heritage Park in Greymouth.
