A small box of Joseph Gillott's stainless steel pen nibs, Super Highland No. 1156 variety. Joseph Gillott began manufacturing steel pen nibs in 1830 and was one of the major players in the Birmingham pen trade of the 19th Century. The nibs are marked as being made for the New Zealand Government.
