Description

This is the last known portrait of Katherine Mansfield printed as a postcard, a popular format at the time. The photograph was taken On the front she has written, ‘Your sister ‘K’’. There is no message on the back as she sent it to her youngest sister Jeanne inside a letter. Mansfield had gone to Switzerland in the hope that the mountain air would help her tuberculosis.
