Description

Cleaners employed by several major cleaning companies were picketing in Auckland yesterday, after being offered no boost in recent pay negotiations. The E tu union has been negotiating for commercial cleaners, seeking a pay increase to the Living Wage of $23.65. That's set to go up to $26 an hour from September. They're also seeking other improvements to conditions, such as the provision of first-aid kits. Leonard Powell went along to hear about their fight for fair pay.
