Description

A massive geyser eruption at Waimangu, Rotorua Lakes region. The surrounding geothermal landscape is covered with toi toi grasses. Two men in suits and hats run towards the geyser, while other spectators watch from a hillside Waimangu was the largest geyser in New Zealand. It began erupting in 1900.
