Evening Post" Photo. Donald Nairn, six and a half years of age, was the central figure of this departure from Rongotai Aerodrome yesterday. Suffering from respiratory. paralysis, his only chance was to reach Auckland- as quickly as possible and be placed in an iron lung. Rushed from the Wellington Hospital to the aerodrome by the Wellington Free Ambulance, he ivas transferred to the Aero Club's Percival Vega Gull machine, and, accompanied by Dr. J. F. The work consists Of a memorial portion nnd bathing, accommodation.-. The- memorial section has two entrances, one facing the end of Buick Street and the other the beach.
