Description

Depicts a group of six Maori people posed around a large pou, a carving of a figure, in the outdoors. The four adults are standing; one boy crouches in front of the carving, while the other boy is seated on top of it with his legs crossed. The only woman in the photograph is wearing a korowai (cloak adorned with black tassels or hukahuka), and one of the men is wearing a patterned blanket as a cloak. The others are wearing shirts, trousers and jackets.
