RAINMAKERS.—When the late Mr. Clement Wragge (on,right) was a leading authority on weather topicsnn Australia he had a scheme for overcoming the droughts which so often assailed various'parts of the country. With these huge tubes he bombarded the skies in the hope of making the rain fall. Each lube was named after a prominent climatologist. (Evening Post, 15 October 1936)
