Description

Fashion designer Doris De Pont and textile designer Adrienne Foote collaborated to create an outfit inspired by wildlife. The fabric saves a feather or two, while the boa is made of possum fur. Introduced into New Zealand, possums are considered pests because they threaten native forests and birdlife. Their fur is not greatly valued compared to luxury furs such as mink and sable.
