Description

Ann Robinson designed and cast this vessel at her Kare Kare studio on Auckland's West Coast. This particular piece is significant for its relationship to Robinson's later Nikau vase forms, a significant form which is still included in her repertoire. It has been made using the 'frit casting' method which involves placing small pieces of glass in the mould which fill the mold as the glass melts.
