Description

Porcelain – beauty from the East Porcelain, prized for its beauty and strength, was first imported to Europe from China in the 1400s. By the 1600s, it had become enormously popular. Chinese cobalt-blue glaze was influenced by Middle Eastern potters. They developed colourful, floral designs, for which they are still celebrated today.
