Reports on the findings of two studies that examine the most appropriate way of obtaining data on purchase probability. The two sets of data were gathered in the Dept of Marketing's annual Palmerston North Household Omnibus survey, in 1994 and 1995, on the purchase probabilities for the chances of hiring a laser disk player.
