David Clark was a Scots born whaler who lived on Kapiti Island. He married Heke and they lived at Pauahatanui where they had 1 daughter, called Jessie. She married William Harris and they had 10 children, including George (grandfather of Noeline Procter nee Harris) , William, Hannah, Caroline, David, James, Maud, Violet, Jessie and Thomas.
