Katherine Mansfield and Dorothy Brett seated in a garden (at Sierre?) in 1921. On the table between them, there appears to be some sort of hearing aid device, one end of which Ms Brett holds to her ear. Taken by an unknown photographer. File print has dark splodges on it which are particularly noticable on Dorothy Bretts face. Back of file print notes that this photograph was taken in Sierre, however there is no mention in the Katherine Mansfield biographies by Antony Alpers or Claire Toma...
