Steam tram travelling over the viaduct on the beach at Sumner, Christchurch. On the left is Cave Rock and behind, Whitewash head (at the terminal of Scarborough spur). Note on back of file print reads: "Dated by Christchurch City Council Engineers 1898-1903. Lifeboat in cave at left 1898-1903. Absence of large house on hill - pre 1906" Quantity: 1 b&w original negative(s).
