Te Aomarama, meeting house in Ohinemutu, used as an office by the Board of Maori Arts for the Rotorua Carving School. This image shows the exterior of the meeting house with the sign above the door "Board of Maori Arts. Office & workshop". Photographed by Albert Percy Godber circa 1930. Te Ao Marama, Ohinemutu, was a meeting house owned by the Bennett family. It was given by them to St Faith's Church for use as a Parish Hall, and was used by the Board of Maori Arts when they established the ...
