Shows a happy family playing on the floor of their living room. At the right a father plays with the doll's house of one of his daughters, while the mother at left, holds the younger daughter in her arms. The carpet has a scrolled leaf pattern. The referendum on six o'clock closing was held on 9 March 1949. Date decided by similarity to image on back of pamphlet issued 1948 by NZ Alliance: \"6 o'clock closing or 10: (at Ephemera A ALCOHOL. Hours 1948)
